100 AI Experiments - Rules, Expectations, Banter...

So we are a few experiments in and I’ve decided that we’ll if I’m going to spend 2024 experimenting well I should have some accountability and you know (rules) 😲 and GOALS.

At the onset my thought process was simply to run a 100 AI content experiments but after obsessing over this concept for several months I decided I want to do more than just one-off experiments.

My goal here is to help other entrepreneurs or even aspiring entrepreneurs get more done and make more money in the process.

My husband always says, “Put it on the board”. Because of my relentless need to tackle all ideas all at once. So we’re going to literally put it on the board and do something with it all.

At the end of the day - the goal is not to show you how to use tools but instead to teach you the thought process of using AI make money. If that is the GOAL from day one we might as well focus on that. Right?

So I have a couple side projects that have been lingering in the background so I thought why not incorporate those projects into this and also at the same time I have a couple business projects I’ve been working on that I’d like to grow exponentially. If it’s not obvious by now (I’m a techie/marketer) so most of my projects are B2B but what I’d like to do in 2023 is to focus growing a couple direct to consumer DTC brands into the mix later into the year. So here’s the plan. Since the actualization of this project was 3 months ago but planning a vision somehow started now (rolling eyes at self) we’ll set our 1 year review date to April 1st, 2024.

Below I’m listing the projects we will work on and how they will make money.

1. Social Media Productized Service - Onboard 100 paid customers

2. Online Course - Sell 1,000 Course Licenses

3. Content Database Subscription - Sell 100 Subscriptions

4. Grow a Newsletter to 20k Subs - Paid Sponsorships

5. UGC Productized Service - 1,000 paid customers

6. Grow Website Domain Authority to 40 - Sell 100 backlinks

7. Etsy DTC products - Sell 100 digital downloads

To set the expectations properly I need everyone to understand that 50% of these projects will be solo (only me) and the other 50% are supported by companies. The great news is that for anyone reading, watching, or listening in there will always be a project or experiment you can partake in whether you’re a solopreneur, a CEO, or a Director of Growth.

Some Rules or Guidelines

In general I enjoy breaking or bending the rules but to hold myself accountable I want to set some guidelines. This way we are focused executing experiments that will yield results vs. fluff/noise/endless merry-go-round type of things.

So lets set the stage:

1. No ads (sorry)

2. Every experiment will have $100 (if necessary)

3. I don’t think standard tools should be included in the financial equation things like: G-Suite / Canva / Email Service Provider / OpenAI - these are all tools we would use anyway and typically there is a free option for all of them.

4. Some of these experiments are new to me like DTC products. If I learn something new I will share it with you. We can call those supplementary education (or a better name). If I mention something you don’t understand completely share it with me in comments or on Twitter and I will elaborate.

5. I will post a link to track the progress of these projects. So that you can also follow my progress. I’m thinking something like Airtable with links to experiments and notes will work. Come back later to see the link

6. I’m not allowed to build another website. All of these projects either

   1. Already have a website associated with it

   2. Will rely solely on the marketplace platform (e.g. Etsy, Amazon, Fiverr, etc.)

7. I can buy new domains for projects simply for the reason of reselling them later or redirecting the domain to a marketplace page/listing

8. With the exception of projects 4 & 5 which do have a full blown team behind them I cannot hire any other people. If I have help doing the experiments I will disclose the information in the experiment.

Blinders, Disclosures, and Stuff…

I’m never sure what will become of these little internet adventures but I’m really excited to see this through for 12 months. People always ask me what I do. Some days it’s sitting and thinking while other days it’s tackling a whole bunch of things.

Though, in 2023 I decided I want to spend my time increasing the wealth and prosperity of people around me. Some of my motivations for doing this are

1. Clearly the future - AI will change the way we work and live.

2. My family - I have children stepping into adulthood and I’d like to help them navigate through this new world that’s emerging.

3. Personal growth - I’d like to spend more time teaching others what I know and learning more as well.

4. Service to others - Truly there has never been a greater time to obtain financial freedom than now. You can be anyone from anywhere and make money doing things you love while helping others at the same time.

   1 Peter 2:16 says, “Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God.

Finally it goes without saying, I don’t have control over what the future may bring. Some of these projects maybe sold while we are working on them in which case, we’ll add another project to the list.
